We had a wonderful stay at Casa Ruy Lopez. The hotel staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel right at home. The Spanish-style breakfast, including delicious tostadas, was a delightful way to start the day. With the scorching hot temperatures outside, the reliable Wi-Fi and refreshing air conditioning in the room were much appreciated. We also loved the added convenience of having a fridge in our room. The hotel's central location meant that we were within walking distance of all the major attractions in town, yet it was surprisingly quiet. The cleanliness and tasteful furnishings added to the overall charm of the place. Above all, the owner was extremely polite and always went out of their way to assist us. Breakfast was served at a time of our choosing, ensuring that there was something to suit everyone's taste.
Couldn't stay longer! 😔

We had an amazing romantic escape at this B&B. The host, Manuel, was incredibly friendly and provided us with helpful information about the area. He even gave us detailed directions on where to park for free, just a short walk away. The B&B's location was perfect, allowing us to easily explore the charming old town on foot. The continental breakfast included delicious homemade jams and marmalade, along with local honey, cheese, and meats. And the fresh coffee was just what we needed to start our day right.
While the ambiance of the B&B was lovely and stylish, it may not be the best choice for families with young children. We were constantly worried about the fragile decor and furnishings that were scattered throughout the establishment.

The hotel was conveniently located within walking distance of the main square, making it easy to explore the area. The room was clean and spacious, and the newly remodeled shower had great water pressure. The breakfast was traditional Spanish, with a good selection of ham and cheese.

I had a pleasant surprise during my stay at this hotel. The upgraded room I was given was really cute, with a lovely balcony overlooking the town. The host was very likeable and helpful, assisting me in finding a great restaurant for dinner. I also appreciated being allowed to have breakfast early so that I could continue on with my journey.
There were a couple of negative aspects at this hotel. the bed was a little hard, which made it slightly uncomfortable to sleep on.

Casa Ruy Lopez is my go-to place. I always return. Staff found and returned my forgotten hairbrush on my first stay. It has everything: Wi-Fi, 24-hour security, outdoor dining area, and a flat-screen TV. Perfect for me. Coming back for Easter.

Loved the "mountain views" from the "terrace" while sipping a drink at the "on-site bar". The "free WiFi" was a plus, but who needs it when surrounded by such "attractive traditional décor"?
Really missed having a "robot butler" to bring me snacks. That would have made my stay PERFECT.

Had a great xmas at this hotel. Loved the warm welcome from the owners and their helpfulness throughout our stay. The Spanish breakfast with fresh churros and migas was a treat, and the buffet had a good variety. The hotel's location was perfect, with everything within walking distance.

The rooms were well-furnished and beautifully decorated, creating a calm and relaxing atmosphere. We also appreciated the pleasant aroma throughout the house. The attention to detail and care put into the guest house was evident in every aspect. Additionally, having tea and coffee making facilities, as well as complimentary water, was a nice touch.
